I like the expression on the guy's face. You could've pupmped up the iso though.

ISO is a setting in your camera. A higher number allows you to take photos in darker settings without making it blurry but the trade off is the image quality starts to go down as the ISO goes up. You should be able to change the ISO - you may have to change your camera to use a more manual settings mode.
